Day 1 (Wed) Amsterdam - Brussels - Waterloo - Paris
Our tour guide will meet you in front of the Burger King (at 8:30AM) after you
pass the custom. Our day begins with a drive to Brussels, the Belgium capital, before we arrive, stop for a photo at the Atomium, monument of the first World Fair after WW II, took place in Brussels in 1958. Then drive to the city center, enjoy an orientation at the beautiful Grand' Place and the Mannenken Pis. After, we driver to Waterloo, the final defeat of Napoleon, and some 48500 Dutchman, Prussians, English and Frenchmen scattered about the place. Later, we drive to the most splendid city - Paris, overnight at hotel after dinner.
Day 2 (Thur) Paris
Today, driver takes us to visit the glorious Palace of Versailles, built as a hunting lodge by Louis XIII, then developed to majority and taking on full royal power by Louis XIV. It remained the residence of the royal family since 1722 until the Revolution of 1789. After, we will enjoy a sight seeing tour of the Arc de Triomphe, then a drive along the Champs Elysees to the Place de la Concorde, where the royal and many aristocracy members were guillotined during the Revolution. We will then drive up to the Hotel des Invalides, where the Tombean de Napoleon 1 is also located. Later, we will feature the ascent of the Eiffel Tower, and a relaxing scenic Seine Cruise featuring such highlights as Notre Dame Cathedral and Pont Alexandre III . Then transfer to hotel for overnight after dinner. ( if clients interested in visiting the splendid Paris or Seine Cruise after dinner, our tour guide would be pleased to arrange it for you)
Day 3 (Fri) Paris
Our morning visit is one of the world's greatest art museums -The Louvre, enjoy
the sight of Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samthrace (also called Nike of
Samothrace) and the most famous work by Leonardo da Vinci - Mona Lisa. After
lunch, you will have your own time for shopping. Back to hotel after dinner.
Day 4 (Sat) Paris - Torino
Bus departure at Paris Place d'Italie in the morning, bus drive across the
beautiful scenery mountain and go into Italy. Overnight at Torino
Day 5 (Sun) Torino - Milan - Verona - Venice
Today's, We enjoy the orientation tour including Sforza Castle, further the
gothic Duomo, the 19th century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the 'La Scala'
opera house. After enjoying the gorgeous architecture, drive will takes us to
Verona, a city full of historical buildings, and romance. We will enjoy the
orientation on foot, including the Roman amphitheatre - Verona Arena, passing
the most relaxing small streets, we will visit the setting of the story of Romeo
and Juliet, it's short passageway leading to the balcony is covered with slips
of paper carrying their graffiti. Later, we will transfer to hotel, stay
overnight in Venice or a city nearby.
Day 6 (Mon) Venice - Rome
After breakfast, we are transferred to Venice, the 'city of canals'. Upon
arrival, the waterbus will take us along the canals past many marvelous
architectures and churches. On San Marco Square, we will see the Basilica di San
Marco, one the best known example of Byzantine architecture, also we will see
The Bridge of Sighs, connects the old prison to the interrogation rooms in the
Doge's Palace. After witnessing a demonstration of Murano glass-blowing, perhaps
a gondola ride to the Grand Canal would be hard to resist!
After the sightseeing, then bus will take you to Rome for dinner and stay
overnight.
Day 7 (Tue) Rome - Vatican - Florence
After breakfast, we will be transferred to a tiny sovereign state, heading to
the largest Church in the smallest country in the world, St. Peter's Basilica in
Vatican, built as a great basilica by Emperor Constantine in AD 324 after he
officially recognized Christianity. Rebuilt construction started in the year
1506 and was completed in 1615. The Basilica in itself is an artwork composed of
many artistic elements by many famous architects and artists. After lunch, we
will enjoy a sightseeing tour which includes The Colosseum, built in the year AD
72 for the gladiatorial combat against each other or animal to the death; The
Arch of Constantine, The Pantheon, which was originally built as a temple to all
gods, but has been a Christian church since the 7th century. Then why not make a
wish at the Trevi Fountain like the film 'Three coins in the Fountain', and
enjoy the relaxing tour at Spanish Square. Overnight at Florence or a city
nearby.
Day 8 (Wed) Florence - Pisa - Genova
An early drive to Florence, the city is often considered the birthplace of the
Italy Renaissance, and famous for fine art and architecture. After enjoying the
panoramic view from Piazzale Michelangelo, a sightseeing tour on foot features
the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River, Duomo and Campanile Tower (by Gitto), and
also Uffizi Gallery , one of the finest art galleries in the world. After the
sightseeing, why not find your favorite leather goods in your leisure time, as
the famous Italy leather industry was originally built here. Then drive will
take you to Pisa, enjoy an orientation on foot and photo at the Leaning Tower,
which was scheduled to be blown up by the US Army during WW II. Fortunately, a
last minute order to retreat prevented the destruction. Also, we'll visit the
site of the beautiful Duomo (the Cathedral), and the Baptistery. Overnight at
Genova or a city nearby.
Day 9 (Thu) Genova - Monaco - Nice - Cannes - Avignon
After breakfast, then we will take our journey along the Mediterranean Sea to
Monaco, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and visit a small country with big
attractions, feathering the grand and famous casino in Monte-Carlo. After,
transfer to Nice, passing along the famous perfume town, also include a visit to
the Fragonard Perfume Factory. After the fragrance trip, we will visit Cannes,
which has given out the most prestigious film awards here, stop for a photo at
the Palais des Festival and enjoy a relaxing time near the beach. Overnight at
Avignon or a city nearby.
Day 10 (Fri) Avignon - Paris
After breakfast, bus back to Paris, On our way back, why not just relax,
experience the beautiful scenery and landscape or enjoy a nice movie on the bus!
Day 11 (Sat) Paris - Reims - Luxembourg
This morning, we will take our journey along the beautiful countryside of France to Reims, the capital of Champagne, an old province of France made world famous by its Champagne sparkling wine. Reims played a very important role in French history, as it was the place where the kings of France were crowned since the 11th century. Thus the Cathedral of Reims became the most important heritage here. Later, we will drive ahead to Luxembourg, the only remaining Grand Duchy. On our arrival, enjoy the orientation at the Place de Constitution, the canyon in the city and Pont Adophe. After dinner, transfer to hotel for overnight in Luxembourg or a city nearby.
Day 12 (Sun) Luxembourg - Trier - Koblenz - Frankfurt
Today, our first visit is Trier, the German's oldest city has been named as 'Second Rome' since Constantine the great has administrated in here for 10 years. The best known place from our orientation is the Porta Nigra, it is the most well-preserved roman city gate north of Alps, also the birthplace of the influential philosopher Karl Marx, the Karl Mars Haus is situated in the house where he was born. After, we will drive to Koblenz, the confluence of the Rhine and the Mosel. We will have lunch in this famous scenic place, and take the cruise along the Rhine, to spend your precious moment with your family and friends. Re-aboard from the cruise drive will takes us to Frankfurt am with stop over in Rudesheim. On our arrival in Frankfurt, enjoy our orientation in the Saint Paul's Church, Romer, which was completely destroyed in WW II, but rebuilt afterwards. After dinner, transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 13 (Mon) Frankfurt - Bonn - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today, we will drive ahead to Bonn, the capital of 'West Germany' from the year 1949 to 1990, and enjoy our orientation to the historic Town Hall, Ludwig Van Beethoven Haus. Then the drive takes us to Cologne, site of the Cologne Cathedral, the most famous heritage in this city, and may be the shopping area will be another attraction to you? After lunch, we will proceed back to Amsterdam, after dinner, transfer to hotel.
Day 14 (Tue) Amsterdam - Hometown
In the morning, our bus will drop off at the airport and flight back to your hometown.
